Role Description

Investment Attraction

  • Research and identify target companies to engage and generate qualified investment leads;
  • Identify and engage key decision makers and influencers in target companies. Manage customer engagement and progress leads into active engagements (prospects).
  • Prepare and present high-quality pitch and proposals to prospects.
  • Network and build relationships with various chambers, associations, consultants, etc to gain referrals.
  • Organize/participate in business events and conduct marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain CRM diligently and generate periodic reports as required.

 

Trade Promotion

  • identify potential distributors in India for a given product range;presentation of international companies to relevant distributors, partners and customers  in India;
  • organize relevant business meetings, arranging meetings for foreign companies and officials;
  • Track relevant tenders and calls for proposals and prepare regular reports on them.
  • Prepare business proposals and lead the sales engagement with potential customers.
  • Creation of Sectoral reports
  • Participate in relevant local events in order to promote the foreign companies.
  • Maintain and update the content of the website with relevant trade information and activities;
  • Organize and coordinate business and PR events;organization of interviews with the local press.
  • Preparation of Monthly Plans and Monthly Reports

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience of relevant and similar International Trade Promotion and Inward Investment Attraction experience for an international government agency.
  • Overall professional experience of 5+ years preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is mandatory. Good Knowledge of Hindi highly preferred. Knowledge of other Indian or Foreign languages is an additional plus.
  • Demonstrable ability and experience of managing CXO level client relationships.
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to carry out online research quickly and with high quality outputs.
