Role Description

  • Research and identify target organizations and generate qualified leads
  • Manage customer engagement and progress leads into opportunities (prospects). Account Management responsibilities.
  • Prepare and present high-quality pitch and proposals to prospects.
  • Organize and conduct business meetings and periodic sales follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with partners, suppliers and external agencies.
  • Track relevant tenders, EOIs and RFPs and prepare regular reports on them with required intelligence to evaluate the opportunities.
  • Prepare RFPs, Proposals, PPTs, Quotations, etc.
  • Close deals/sales while maximizing profitability for company.
  • Conduct Market research and generate reports.
  • Manage client assignments/projects end-to-end.
  • Maintain CRM diligently and generate periodic reports as required.
  • Promote the firm online, offline and on social media.
  • Any other management support activities desired by the company.

Additional Information about the position

  • You will initially report directly to the Directors.
  • Domestic travel for BD and sales is part of the job.
  • Compensation would be combination of fixed + variable components.

Essential Criteria

  • Post Graduate Degree : MBA or equivalent in relevant discipline from a good institute.
  • Preference for candidates with relevant/similar experience in same/related sectors. Must have excellent networks and relationshipswith target customer groups mentioned.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is mandatory. Good Knowledge of Hindi preferred. Knowledge of other Indian languages is an additional plus.
  • Demonstrable ability and experience of handling projects independently and managing client relationships at senior levels.
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, Email, CRM, etc) and ability to carry out online research quickly and with high quality outputs.
